What the numbers mean
Audio minutes are the length of the songs you separate. Free counts songs per day instead, with no length limit on each song. Storage is the space your uploads and stems take; paid plans keep your stems for as long as you subscribe and for 30 days after a plan ends, and on Free a track is cleared after 24 hours.
HD and AI minutes are a second balance on Studio. They pay for AI songs, AI instruments, AI vocals and the AI chorus, and for HD mastering. Studio includes 60 each month, which reset monthly, and minute packs add 60 minutes for $9, 140 for $19 or 220 for $29. Pack minutes never expire.
Refunds for failed work
When a billable job fails and the refund is confirmed, the charged minutes go back to your balance and the activity row says so. An AI song or vocal request that delivers nothing is refunded automatically.
Changing or cancelling a plan
You can upgrade, change your payment method or cancel from Account at any time. Payments are processed by Stripe, so AudioStem.ai never sees or stores your card number.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free separates 20 full-length songs a day, including one YouTube song a day, with 2 GB of storage and synchronized playback, mixing, A/B loops and EQ in the browser. Downloads and share links are on paid plans.
What is the difference between Starter and Studio?
Starter, at $4.99 per month, is basic stem separation: 200 audio minutes, the two core models and free MP3 downloads of every track. Studio, at $9.99 per month, adds every separation model on faster GPU processing, 500 audio minutes, free WAV and custom mix downloads, live effects, chords and MIDI, mastering, AI songs and vocals and 60 HD and AI minutes a month.
Do minute packs expire?
No. Packs add 60 minutes for $9, 140 for $19 or 220 for $29 to the HD and AI balance on Studio and never expire.
